Drag radials are junk ... On stick cars unless you got suspension that can handle the stiff sidewall , I'm going to try them on my car in the new season but on a relatively stock suspension stick car they usually don't work the best . 3rd can sometimes be tricky to get , could be the shifter you're using as well

Drag radials are fine I think I'll have control arms by then too. The shifter I got is a triax and pistol grip handle( never miss 3rd speed shifting lol but power shifting is a whole new thing. Hey what's the best drag springs for the front?

Another piece of (unsolicited) advice I'll give is that you should go to the strip as often as possible. Don't fall into the trap of "I'll go again when I have done this and thus to my car." If you want to get better at it, you should go as often as possible, regardless of whether you have the "new setup" in the car or not. Unless going is prohibitively expensive, you will benefit from the experience and be able to better appreciate/understand the changes you make to the car moving forward.

I use to go a lot, just been putting it off because doing the same times on both trip is just a sign to go faster.
