Any battery will do that. That's what batteries do when they sit. If they sit too long, they start to sulfate.
i have a yellow top, had it for 5 years i guess, not 2000 miles on my car in that time frame, charged it up couple mouths ago, crank the car every 3 months or so now it seems, no problems at all. and i dont unhook it, always keep the clock correct i say.x182dan said:Optima sucks plain and simple.
