yeah i think it would definitely look good with a dark dark color going along with the bright red. although i've never been one to like a different colored lip than the rest of the wheel itself.

IMO your wheels are too small to go with a crazy color...that 350z pulls off the blue wheels because they are huge and stretched...on ur car it would look tacky.

I vote keep the wheels bronze and do the cage in wrinkle black.

OR...get ur same wheels in 18s, and do them in blue with a blue cage :)

i was honestly waiting for jb's expertise in this. lol. i'm most likely keeping the wheels bronze, not interested in 18's, i'd have to lift up the car, or lose tire which means losing some handling which i'm not cool with for blue wheels. haha. as for cage, wrinkle black or silver would be cool actually i think.

I too like the color you have already, changing them to silver or chrome would just let you blend into the crowd like another sheep....

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

The 350z was pulling off the blue wheels??? I would almost expect it to pop some crazy wheelies before the hatch to pop open and for 3 clowns get out and start making balloon animals for everyone like a modern circus car. Hell it matches most of the big-top tents/circus shows I have ever seen.

"Pulling it off" for an auto-x car I should say haha...crazy color track wheels look awesome because they are fun. Obviously I wouldn't want to drive around with blue wheels on a red car all the time.

If I turned my car into an auto-x only car I would probably paint my wheels neon orange or something...who cares, its all fun...nothing is permanent.

exactly and seeing as this car is well on it's way to a trailer queen...lol. all ideas are being considered! for right now I think i'm gonna keep them the way they are until I get the cage done and seats etc in and then go from there. need to get this car dialed in a little more first. and yeah ttocs, i'm definitely trying as hard as i can to stray away from the rest of the herd, so no chrome/silver here.

yeah now that's i've heard everyone's opinion here i'm most likely going to keep them the same color and i will make changes in the future if need be. i'm focused on the front suspension right now anyways. lol.

atually the only thing stopping me from even considering those^^^ is that they are 18's. they would fit on the car and all. might have to roll the fenders but not sure what size tire i could go with on the front. i would want to go same size front and back. or maybe a little more on the back like a 295, would these fit on the front of my car with 275's? i don't want to lift the car any really. if so a tiny bit. lol.
