I know. NPD still shows they have some, but only in parchment. I can see why. Not everyone likes parchment and usually most folks add a black carpet in.

But it laid down easily and all the holes were ready to go. The bag the carpet came in had a 3/23/02 date on it, so it's been sitting a while.
Do you happen to have the stock number handy?

Seems right . I’m taking my grey carpet out for a black one .

M-013000-125Q

It's listed as convertible, but when you buy ACC carpet they list the coupe/convertible application to be the same so not sure how significant the differences would be.

That things a bad ass unit

It's a shitbox, but it is a cool shitbox. Rearend is currently thinking about unaliving itself, had some fluid blown out the vent and a bit of noise on the ride home. But we gonna rock this night ride before we tear into it.

I just got done actually running the wiring for the rock/pod lights correctly. Got 1 more hole to drill and a rivnut to install and then it's just waiting until the last two pods show up so I can finish the install.

I might actually be ready before the day of a ride.

Well, I was back at it again with the ongoing power steering saga that's been going on for four months now. Long story short, burned up two re-manufactured Ford pumps, two brand new Ford pumps... and so I tried a different route now after doing some research into the GM Type II pumps. Broadest consensus out there among vendors/experts is that Ford pumps just suck. GM pumps are more ubiquitous, can be highly customized, and generally work better and are what serious racers and off-roaders use. So I made the investment with a custom-valved pump and a custom pulley, and I spent the last day or so putting in the sweat to mock everything up and fabricate new lines/adapters to make it all fit. System is primed and ready, so hopefully tomorrow during testing it just finally works!

I've been running a Type II on my Cobra for 15yrs. Best pump ever! I also use a Heidt's valve to control flow because I had it on when I first built it in '99 with the stock Ford POS to lower pressure. Did you make a custom bracket to mount it to the Coyote, or is one available. If my stock '02 pump takes a crap, I may switch.

I’ve built quite a few diffs, and I don’t quite understand how this happens. I would imagine the pinion bearings would be destroyed letting the pinion gear move that far.

From what I remember (happened probably close to 20 years ago), mine started as a bad pinion seal that I ignored. Looked way worse than the one in the pic though.

I saved the diff for years as a conversation piece :D
