I found a 1997 Cobra vert Crystal White with 138k on the clock. Int is in pretty good condition. The extiriror needs paint pretty bad, but body is straight. The top is white and seems like it is in good condition other than being dirty. It has a new hood that is primer black and is missing the scoops. New clear headlights and corners. Very good rubber. It looks like it is lowered. Don't know about mods, the car is on a side of the road car lot. They are asking $4,995. 3 month-3,000 mile warenty.

If I bought this, it would be the hers, in the his and hers car. It would be a good match to go with my 97 Crystal White Cobra Coup.

Sound a bit pricey to me... but I don't know about Cobras. 138k needin paint seems like it would be cheaper than $5k.

I don't think it is that bad of a deal. If I went for it I would offer $3500-$4000. When I say the paint is bad, it's bad. The clear is coming off in numerous places, and the paint is cracked pretty bad in those areas. It is almost like some moron poured brake fluid or somthing on the paint. Next time I go look, I will take pics.

It's all about wheeling and dealing Rick. It depends on how bad they want to move the car. I would definately give him $3500 as is no waranty if he would go that low.

Buy it steel the hood off of it, the SVT wheels, then sell it for $3500.

I say offer want you think it is worth! I know a painter, so that would not prevent me from buying it! I bought a car with already bad paint. It wasn't in primer though! That's an easy fix. I'm hoping you can and will get it.

The way the paint looks on the rear bumper, there are patches like that all over the car.

i think ive seen that car once or twice. never actually looked at it tho.


you could probably get a 97 cobra with good paint at about 138k miles, for about 6 grand. so if you think you can get a decent paint job for $1000, id say its not a bad deal.

I paid $6600 for my 97 coup 3 years ago with 131k on it.

This is the first time I have seen it at this lot. I am up and down Rt.309 atleast twice a week.
