I have been debating whether or not I want to keep my recently accquired 96 gt... It has a salvage title, 182k miles, and burns oil. Trunk needs to be aligned along with the door. Should I fix these problems and keep it? I mean I want a car I can keep, but im afraid it would be a bad idea to put a lot of money into modifying a car thats salvaged.

the salvage title doesn't mean anything if you want to keep the car for the long haul as you will be the only one who would know. if your trying to fix it up, drive it for a while, then resell it, might not be worth it.
