so my dads bday is coming up in a few months and me and my mom are thinking about getting him his old dream car a porsche 930 turbo.
he used to have one but traded it in for a family car since i was born. hes owned a few ferraris and porsches but we cant really afford an 80,000 dollar car so the porsche fits right in. tell me what you guys think?

I don't know jack about porsches but that would be so cool to do for your dad.

I wish I could buy my dad his 1971 Vette (427 big block four speed 10 flat in quarter mile.) back for him. He had to sell it because a divorce. I felt so bad. That Corvette is the reason I love cars, that was the first time I was set back in the seat that hard. I was soooo hooked after that, I can still remember that day like it was an hour ago.

ya man i here ya. my dad used to own a local exotic dealership and car sales mainly ferraris porsches and such. and i know he misses it. right now he drives a truck and hates it cuz hes just like me and likes the feeling of going fast or just getting on it and being back in your seat. just like you my dads the reason i got into cars.

My dad got back into the game after the divorce with this.

871 weiand blower on a 350 chevy (stroker motor but dont know the stats), dual 750's, custom grind comp cam, ported and polished heads, on and on and on. Builder dyno'ed 800HP and said she has got A LOT left in it. The car weighs next to nothing, believe me, THAT IS FAST. FIrst time I have ever been scared to drive a car, but it was fun as hell. That mother can pick up the front wheels no problem on the street, moving (within reason) or not. :coolsmiley:

looks awesome. seems like its from a reputable dealer too. he's sold 253 cars and still has 100% feedback. now thats impressive. that says if you have any problems with the car when you buy it he'll fix it for you.
