So my car has been sitting for a few weeks wile I was outta town, not sure if this "popping" noise was already there but I notice it now. It happens when i take off or if I rol up to a stop sign and not stop completely... It's comming from the rear and it's a slight pop then I don't hear it anymore... What could it be?

Is it RPM based? Right or left?
Might be U-joints or maybe a rear disc brake dust shield to touching a wheel. It might be something on the ABS reluctor wheel

It's pretty easy, undo the driveshaft from the rear end and pull it out of the tranny tail. It takes a 12mm wrench with a 12 point end. You can have the joints pressed out and in or you can do it yourself with a vice. Check the inside of your wheels to make sure there's no oil on them, I had a similar problem a while back and it turned out to be my joints and a rear end bearing.

Before you buy the u joints jack the car up safely, get under it and rock the driveshaft back and forth paying close attention to both joints for excessive noise or movement
