What is this vacuum line

Okay so since I notice I got a high idle issue when my car is started just after you shut it off then start it back up. When you tap the throttle you can hear the hesitation. Im thinking I've either got some vacuum lines mixed up or this one is the problem

It may be the same as the 5.0L but all that non sense is behind the pass fender on my car. Those little hoses are a beotch, they break easily so tread lightly.

Well its a vacuum line that connects to multiple locations.
EGR, FPR, plenum, and something under the intake that I'm not too sure about. Which is the missing link by the looks of your picture.

I remember one of them was capped off before the swap hmmm

Without me double checking, the end in your hand is on the passenger side near the firewall correct? If I remember correctly one side is plugged and the other goes in to a hose coming from inside the car. Not 100% without checking my car out.

I knew it! Now the side that isn't plugged the long one with the plastic around it what is that hooked up to????

Damn it Jones making me get up out of my recliner, lol. On my car the one with the plastic around it is capped the other one goes to a vacuum line coming out of the firewall near where the ac lines come through the firewall.

yeah just cap the other line
