I will have the money to finally upgrade the suspension on my 94gt as it is still completely stock. I do not want to buy something that I will not be happy with so it would be great to get some opinions of what is too stiff, what is too soft, ect. I will be doing adjustable height control arms so I can tweek the stance so I am only really worried aobut ride quality. I will eventually be going to the track but we are talking 2-3 times a year at the most so that is not the biggest concern but would still like it remembered. Has anyone got new sway bars or is that not needed except for track use?

like I said in your other thread biggest difference you'll see on a street car is subframe connectors and coilovers. next would be LCA's. Sway bar will not be any kind of difference on the street.

I have the subfrrame connectors already and will get them installed at the same time. I have heard eibach can be a bit of a harsh ride, anyone have one that can say yes/no?

depends on which springs and damper combination.

for a street car you can't go wrong with an eibach pro kit and tokico blue shocks and struts. the springs are soft enough that ride quality is virtually unaffected and you get the added plus of a low car.

if you want more aggressive I'd go h&r race springs with bilsteins...

My suspension setup for now will stay standard spring location, just can't afford coil overs. But anyway

MM rack bushing kit
04 FRPP arms
600-700lb front springs
Bilstein HD struts/Shock
MM caster camber plates
J&M lowers
FRPP UCA's.

Had something very similar on another car of mine. For a street car it would out corner anything and stick on street tires. This will actually be a little more aggressive and be on 18's with better tires instead of 17's and sumitomo's. Also GVW and nose weight will be down in this car compared. I expect it to be be every bit or more impressive for a stock pickup point car. Obviously it's no watts link and torque arm, but I had some seriously fluid axle movement. Had 0 binding issues that you get out of most of these cars with mismatched suspension.

My suspension is made up of complete crap. Ford B springs, tokico blues up front and eibach pro dampers out back.
That set up = poop. Once again I think my front tokico blues are on there way out. WTF?! And the eibachs are crap. They just make the back end bouncy and very annoying  I'm about ready to go back to the stock 4x4 set up because I'm tired of this crap. lol Sorry ranting. It rode so much better when it was stock, loved that feeling. /rant

I'm very pleased with my H&R SuperSports and Tokico Illumina struts. Doesn't ride harsh and has a great look.

+1 Look at his sig, simply amazing.

Steeda aluminum lower control arms
FRPP upper control arms
Eibach Pro kit
Tokico shocks and struts
Steed bumpsteer kit
Steeda STB
Steeda end links
Steeda front and rear sways
MM subs
MM aluminum rack bushings
MM steering shaft
MM caster camber plates

I cant complain...ride is tight but far from harsh. I do plan on swaping to a full coilover setup when I tub it, but for a street car it works.

I've got full MM Max Grip package. Before that my favorite setup was H&R Race springs, and Koni SA shocks and struts. They did well at the track, handled the daily drive just fine, very well balanced. If you want less body roll with that combo, you can always couple it with Eibach sway bar kit. Should be a good setup for the street car.

I have Eibach pro springs, stock 55000 mile/15 year old shock/struts, Maximum Motorsports adjustable lower control arms and panhard bar. I find the ride rough but the MM parts did give the car a more responsive feel. It is all coming off in April/May when the IRS goes in with the Full Tilt Boogie bushing kit and H&R springs, Q1A adjustable shocks and a set of struts that I haven't chosen yet.

jeese I might have to start a flowchart or something to keep it straight but this is what I wanted to hear. I know there are people out there that sank some big bucks into their suspension and hate it and I do not want to be one of those poeple. The roads here sucks most of the time from mine subsidence and hot/cold changes and the roads are pretty crappy, makes me miss phoenix fer sure...

no name stiff non progressive rate springs, blown stock shocks/struts with 110k on them, and completely shot rear end bushings. it rattles your teeth when you hit bumps, and you will want to shoot yourself if you ride on a crappy road.
