I cannot find anything at all on the shifter that would lead to any specific brand. It was on the car when I got it and its def a short shifter, I just don't know which one it is and its been bugging me. I think its a b&m from looking at pictures on the web but it doesn't say b&m at the base like I've seen the others. The only thing not pictured that was on there was a red nut that was threaded onto the shifter arm.

Clean off the 1/2" of dirt and we might have a better idea. :)

It actually looks like an older Steeda Sport not a tri-ax. I thought the B&M's were all round.

that looks old school wow, how close is the shifts? dont the tri-ax's have 4 stoppers not just 2? I cant remember its been ages since I installed one in my 91lx.

All I can say is when I first got the car I started in 3rd a few times by accident but now I'm used to it so its easy. Thanks to the 410s it didn't stall. Reaching for third gear when quick shifting is short but I've been in cars with a shorter throw. Its not very notchy either. I like it but I don't have much to compare it to because this is the only t5 tranny I have driven.

it looks like the older version of the UPR shifter, which is a knock off of the tri ax.
