Im doin plugs and wires tomorrow... I was just wondering what i should gap them at? My Haynes book says 0.052 inch?

Its a 1998 GT. i already did the plugs in her but there those rediculas Bosch tripple platinum Tri-Electrode waste's of money. I got them for free but i had to buy 2 replacement ones so far.

Also does that wire grease stuff (forgot the name) that you can get at the auto parts store really work? I didnt do it on them the last time i did them thats probably why 2 of them ished the bed.

Stock spark plug gap is 0.054 .
If your N/A stick with Motorcraft or Autolite spark plugs they are the
best plugs for your car.I found Motorcraft platinum plugs to last a long time though.
Bosch spark plugs are pure junk reframe from useing them on any Ford vehicle.
Make sure to use anti-seize compound on the threads of the new spark plugs you
are installing and don't use too much either.
Your mustang should run great after a nice tune up.
Any other maintenance items need replacing? fuel filter, pcv valve etc.?

I've done a couple oil changes in the rain. Didn't start out while it was raining. It actually started in the middle of the oil change. That sucks :crazy2:

LOL yup that does suck... What sucks even worse is getting everything back together, test-driving, and coming back the next morning only to discover a quart of oil on the ground b/c the threads in the pan got chipped

Yikes. Can't say that's happened to me. lol...My idiot friend changed his oil once and forgot to put the oil cap back on. He left it chilling in the engine bay. Needless to say, he had oil EVERYWHERE.
