i have been kicking around the idea of getting a roller fender and just rent it here.
not sure about how that would work out though.

BF Goodrich KDW2's 255/40/17 on the front and Nitto DR's on the back 315X17. At the track it gets Mickey Tompson Drag Slicks

I know of a place on the net where they are cheap as germinate.
but i talked to a local shop, the guy told me they have been discontinued for a while so anything you get might be rotten.

Tirerack had some in stock but I heard the last few batches were made in China so I skipped on them. I think I will go the BFG KDW route as they look as good and I am already used to the road noise. May consider some Pirelli's also but all depends on what kind of deals I can find when ready.

this is a long list...

stocks
nitto nt555s all around. (great tires, good wear, but shitty rain tires.)

bullits
pirelli pzeroneros all around (great tires, great wear. low noise, and good rain tires.)

mach 1s
nitto nt555s up front, and nt555rs out back.. (both awesome, but as every one knows, the drag radials wear very quick.)

rebels
bfg g force kdws's up front and micheline pilot sports out back. (michelines are awesome, but wear fast, and very expencive... the bfgs came with the wheels, and are wearing better then the michelines, and kumhos ive had on here... but actualy pretty loud, however i cant hear the noise over the exhaust on my gt..)

drag lites
futura gls all around bigs and littles. (great wear, little noice, and very cheap from pep boys.)

ponys
viper radial hx

If I remember correctly my cobra wheels are only 8 inches wide. So I went with the nexxen n3000 245/45/17. But that will change when I pick up some new wheels.
