Get an ebay CAI, O/R xpipe, Gears, Then pick up a used dry kit that should come out to 1000 maybe a lil more.

juice with all the bells and whistles, then depending on how much you have left, lower it and change shocks and struts. should be pretty close to 1k and make major diff power and appearance wise

A good set of used gt-40 heads and rockers a cam and a good nos kit. All this if your motor is healthy enough.

Nitrous never really appealed to me on a street driven car. I'd say shop for some good heads, and if you get them used you might be able to upgrade the intake to match.

Do you only have flowmasters and gears? If you have Headers and mid already I say heads for sure. If not other than saving it (Way easier said than done) I would say Headers, Mid, springs, short shifter(You have Manual?), and maybe a used intake you can find Cobras for around 250-300...

Ok i would never go bottle yah its quick power but only if you got a full tank. I would get intake and exhaust everything you could find.. Dosent matter if its used there no moveing parts usually its all in good enough condition that if you clean them up youll be fine...

But if your stock how can you say to keep it without putting some money in exhaust and a little intake even if its juat a fenderwell.. Those parts your going to buy sooner or later and are always a good place to start.. Even a catback and h pipe with a fenderwell from mac is less then 650 shipped brand new.. If you got flows get some shorties and hpipe that will be less then 400 and then pick up a typhoon intake there about 350 shipped in satin and a fenderwell.. It will liven up your car alot..

Ok im very confused dose anyone here not put money in there car at a few parts at a time.. Even more at when its stock.. I know i have the 5.0 bug bad and love it.. Every mod i get into it gives me more joy. But if you got an almost stock stang and a grand to play with why not buy some exhust stuff and intake.. If you have 3-5 then do up heads cam and other expensive parts..Im not getting this thread and how everyone would not pick up parts that you will keep for the long run and give your stan a little more pep..Mabye im just stupid.. :thumb:

The question is how fast do you want to go? if i was you i would do in tank 255lph fuel pump adjustable regulator, a pieced together dry nitrous kit, (got mine for 200bucks with tank and everything), some 24lb injectors and a mass air. that there should put you in the high 12's all day and it won't put stress in your daily driven pony... now if you want N/A performance then go to a junyard and get some heads off of a 96 5.0 explorer with the intake manifold and the explorer throttle body. I got all of these parts and they are in my car right now for a grand total of 250 bucks. My cam I bought it brand new but you could find those for very cheap and some roller rockers too. that should be like 5 or 6hundred bucks and the rest just spend it on gaskets and oils and shit..... and have a beer......
