it depends on how much you want to spend. I personally think the BEST quality/performance headers are kook or slp. but then again you'll pay 700-800 for ceramic coated ones.

I've heard very mixed reviews on MAC. I personally have BBK tuned length shorties on my car, they've been on there over a year now with no issues at all. They also went on really well too, no suprises with the install.

I know there are lots of guys on here with MAC. I have stock manifolds so I couldn't tell you which ones are the best. I'd suggest you look at ebay for the (possible) best price.

no no no on BBK. We just put on a set of ceramic coated longtubes on my brothers 97, ... after a horrible fit around the bell housing, (tremec tko) there was a exhaust leak on the bottom of the drivers side. they didnt weld a spot under the flange. I would just spend more on slp.. it will be worth it, trust me.. you only want to install them once.

Ya, his x-pipe for the long tubes didnt fit eather. it was made too narrow, and he had to get one of the tubes re-bent. It just sucks, cause even if you wanted to return or exchange them, its not even really worth it to re-install it all. I love BBK's products, but geeze...Tisk Tisk BBK.

From my reasearch, i gonna go with BBK. I have one of their 0\R Xpipes, its great. I've also found out as far as headers go everything else is Too expensive.

I've heard that the mac's and bbk's sometimes sends slag up threw the EGR valve and back into the motor... but to be honest if your doing Long Tubes ... why would you keep the EGR? I'll be getting some Mac's for mine later on down the road. but they will be gasket matched and no EGR.
