So we all, mostly.., know what looks good when it comes to a car. Yet if you ask any member, it will almost always vary, even slightly. This is the curse of individuality. It does however, allow for a fantastic chance for new ideas, and a vast difference, in say, the looks of an sn95, foxbody, and...f-body..
What I'm looking for is a common opinion as to what really looks nice and catches the attention of a non-car savvy person. What really makes those 4 and 5 year olds say, mommy look at that, or daddy buy me one of those! or what (aside from sound/exhaust) really will make people turn their heads after catching a glimpse.
Personally, I think its flashy. You know, a paintjob that shatters the sunlight all over the ground, mirrior like chrome, and *reasonable* sized rims to add a thicker look. I think people also like wide, henche camaros and corvettes, even the fortune kit for the rx7, but the sn95 lacks this (any fix?)
SO, theres my opinion (aka a*shole) but I was hoping to hear from some of you, many of you have been around trophy cars, some of you HAVE trophy cars; what really makes average joe pull a double take, and gather crowds at car shows?
(Looking for mainly cosmetic, but engine style is always great when popping the hood)
