Ever since we rebuilt my front end (ball joints, outer tie rods, struts) and put my 17's back on, I hear what sounds like the tires rubbing the inner fenders when I'm backing up with the wheels turned (or as I'm turning the wheel) at low speed. Any ideas? I never hear the sound at any other time.

Still have some random squeaks/rattles in the front end but what the hell, the car is 11 years old!

Mine does that too at or near full lock,I have found marks from my tires rubbing the plastic trim in the wheel well, you might want to check that.

Definately look on the backside of the tires for any wear indication to be safe. I presume you've had the car aligned since you got it back together?

Yes, I had it re-aligned immediately after.

I can see what looks like tire rub on the inner fenderwell- the plastic pieces- I presume this might be it?
