wheel bearing or warped rotor

ok i have a funny sound coming from the front, dont know how to explain it but whenever i slow down i can hear it but when i hit the brakes it kinda goes away. How to check to see if it a warp rotor or fuck up wheel bearing?

warped rotor you will feel a vibration in the steering wheel when you apply the brakes.

does the sound change when you turn the wheel(like around a corner) or in a straight line? Also describe the sound

Does it get louder if you turn one way? Usually a bad wheel bearing will make more noise is you are turning in the opposite direction of the affected side... i.e. bad left wheel bearing, makes noise turning right

I know it sounds dumb, but have you had the front wheels off lately? sometimes if you have the wheels off, or working on the front brakes
you can bump the dust shield, and that can be contacting the rotor, but ever so slightly.. and then when you apply the brakes it lessens the
vibration, as well as slows wheel speed down, slowing the noise down... I would check the easy stuff first, dust shields, no debris or anything
contacting the brakes... etc..

I had my front wheels off lately but im going to check the dust cover, see if i notice any vibrations or noise whenever i turn

have you replaced the front pads? could be the sounder... just a possibility
