hmm, definitely don't want squeaking. I don't know if I want to remove both, I have X2 ball joints without the spacers right now. If people remove one isolator, do they usually take out the top or bottom one? My guess is the top one is a lot thicker...

Mine squeeked, I think some do and some don't. it didn't start for about 20k though. Onyx, I removed my upper iso's, based on some reasoning that I don't recall now..

maybe cause the top of the spring sits flat and the bottom has a pigtail?

Yeah, I think that's it too, I was thinking the bottom would be more apt to twist. But then again, my car squeeked, lol.

Um, the front ones. They have always rattled.

Um, the front ones. They have always rattled.
ahhh...my bad, I thought the clips didnt fix it for some reason?

Oh no I fixed the rear calipers a LONG time ago. The 2 problems I have now are the front calipers and that damned window regulator
