Where to get quad shocks?

I installed MM LCA and Bilstein shocks with MM rear coilover kit on my car the other day. I had to remove my quad shocks cause they were hitting the coilovers. They were from KYB, and MM says the rear coilover only works with the stock quad shocks or the ones from bilstein. The bilsteins are like $90 a piece, and i cannot find stock ones. Rockauto had the stock quads, but they're out of stock for a couple months. Anyone know where i can get some new quad shocks for cheap?

try ebay, craigeslist, the sn95's classifieds, stangsuspension.com, your local ford dealer, etc. etc.etc.

If you have lower control arms you shouldn't need them.

for $15.00 off rock auto, i'd keep them. all they'll do is help.

mine wouldnt fit with my wheels/stance so i had to get rid of mine. looking into other solutions now, tho.

MM even told me to keep them if i could.

Yuck for quad shocks IMO. Mine are gone and haven't looked back

id like to add "shouldnt" was the key word in that post. he "shouldnt" need them with LCA. you're correct.

I took mine off when i installed my MM LCAs, it's perfect.

I know i could go without them, and probably will for a while. But if i can get some for less than like 50 bucks, it couldnt hurt to use them. Worst case... i'll go without them til rockauto gets more.

If you have the one's with spherical bearings you should be fine without them.

Did you try flipping the quad shock with the KYB's to see if they still hit against the coil overs? Sometimes that works.

Some people can get away without some, some cant, depends also on how you drive. I wount bother but thats me.
