on my way home from class just now i pulled up next to...well.....ill just tell you what it looks like. it is a silver new edge GT that looks like a terminator with a 95 cobra R hood. it has GT badges. it has a 6 speed tranny cuz ive seen it parked before. it has huge tires on the back, and insanely huge brakes/rotors. i have heard rumors of what the guy has under the hood for about a year n ow. its kinda a famous car around here. its loud as all hell too and it will burn out all the way through 1st 2nd and 3rd gear.

anyway! he pulled into a parking lot near my house so i decided to stop and say hi, i said "oh man nice car! whats it got done to it?" he basically said " a whole lot" and started walking away, so i simply said "well it looks great man, good job. what kinda cam is that?" then he looked and me and yelled "cant disclose anything about the engine"

anyway, if youre on here mustang *#*$face then please, dont be an @$$ just cuz someone admires the work you have put into your car, im not trying to steal your secrets or race you or anything.

if anyone ever stops to ask about my car i always pop the hood if i have time, tell them what i have done, what my plans are, ask about their car. im never like that.

ya dude I hear ya. I hate people like that. makes mustang owners look like dicks.. like one time I pulled into a qt and there was a 98 s281 and I asked about it and he said it was a saleen and drove off

People like that have always puzzled me, mines a rare car here, and i'm only too happy to bore people to death with what i have and have'nt done to it.
It takes all sorts i suppose.

just keep tellin him youll spank him. and keep sayin it. i bet after a while he will start tellin you whats up with it. i knew someone like this with a civic. PEICE OF CRAP. he told every1 he has a motor swap in it bla bla bla. so i got sick of it and popped his hood. he had an exhaust and some of that awesome blue wire covering stiff you can put on your wifre under the hood to "dress it up" .....gimme a break.

ALthough I will admit that sometimes I hate when people are like whats done to it?

cause saying everything is more accurate then sitting there trying to remember/describe things haha.

um lets see, the suspension is all new, every bolt on you can buy, tuner, gears, full exhaust...basically everything you can do to a mustang without breaking into the engine

Bah, i never felt like blabbing on to people about my car, mostly because they would come back with stupid hillbillyness. Like "why isn't that a 5.0" or "my uncles brothers wifes girlfriends sons car would whoop your's", or " I have a Regal with a 350 gold rocket edition with 4 bolt mains that would beat that".... I could go on and on all day, so instead when people asked about the car I told them it was a "V6, but a factory special high output V6, it's not a normal 6, they did something to it, to make it a high output. It's all Edelbrock, yeah, and it eat's V8's for breakfast...... Oh really? wanna put 50 on that?...."

I always talk about my car to other mustang guys...it's just annoying when kids come up that you know want to go race...and are like so what's done to it

I just say bone stock. (which is fairly accurate)

I just tell them some bolt ons and exhaust but its a lot faster than it was stock

Mine was slow, if I popped the clutch, it would just stall... Muffler fell off, that's why it was so loud.... Topped out at 110, but ir ran the 1/4 in 10 :rollinglaugh:

I usually nod to other guys with SN's... Most of the time I could care less. I am never rude to another SN owner (or other Mustang etc.) unless they are TOOLS right off the bat. I love pulling up to gas stations and saying "Can I get 20 Super?" and being interrupted mid sentence with a "What's this thing run?" "How fast have you gone?" "Do you race this? I race my SRT??" I just smile and say "It does okay for a V6..." :idiot2:
