which roller rockers and pushrods?

I currently have a fairly stock block with only the intake and exhaust done, and 24 lb injectors ready to go for more. I bought a set of trickflow TW heads when they were on sale last month and now I have started to look for rest of the parts I need to complete the install. I know I see people running both 1.6 and 1.7 rollers so which one do I want/need? Also for the pushrods, which ones would you recomend and how do I know what size to get?

Next question, is there anyone in the evansville indiana area that would know how to install these, want to show me and make a few bucks as well?

Are you using a stock cam?

Are you asking what rockers to use as well?

Ah sorry no, I was going to go with a trickflow stage 1 cam. I am curious which RR which would be best as well, I will probably keep everything TF brand just to keep it simple and assume it all works together. I am just unsure of size and such......

Trick Flow 1.6 Rockers and get an adjustable pushrod. Measure the pushrod to be exact...and then order the correct pushrod.

Trick Flow might sell the top end kit with the heads, cam, intake, pushrods etc. but ALWAYS measure for the right pushrod, always. A pushrod that fits one engine may not necessarily work in another. Look into a chromoly heat treated pushrod...Comp Cams, Trick Flow etc.

I bought Manley, they were like $120 if I remember correctly.

Yes on the pushrods. Im running AFR 185s and I needed 6.4 long rods

I was really hoping to take it apart and put it back together with as short a time in between as possible. Does autowhore or one of the others sell a good enough push rod I could pick it up rather then order and wait for it?

if you get the ones trick flow sells with their kit it might get you pretty close but i would still measure. adjustable pushrod is like 15 dollars. cheaper than if you mess up your heads

so the only place I can get the correct size and type is online? I am not going to leave my motor apart for 4 days to a week to wait for the ups guy, there has to be a better way?!

check if you have any performance shops in your area. I was able to get mine through a local performance shop the same day, they just ordered it with their pick up for the day.

TFS makes a good pushrod but you always need to measure for the correct length.

Stock shortblock (neber rebuilt) with TFS 170cc heads, 6.7 pushrods. But it does not hurt to buy a pushrod length checker to double check. I have a set of Trickflow 6.7 pushrods if you want to buy them from me. PM me if you are interested.
