okay i am new to the site and with the sn cars. lol i bought a 98 gt and it has white face gauges they were a bit durty so i took them apart to clean them. i think i messed up cuz i took the needles off. Do the needles need to be reset cuz my speedo is off and the tech. can any one help me? :tard:

you need to turn the car off. put all the needles at "0"
then take the car to the gas station, fill it up, and put the gas one at "full"
when driving the car home, see if things line up better.... the battery, oil pressure, temp should all be near the middle of the gauges. the gas should be at "F" and the speedo will have to be checked with a second car. The tach is the only MAJOR PITA

get a digital reader (SCT Livewire for example) and it will tell you your RPMs. plug it in, turn it on, place the needle, you are good to go.... ill sell you my SCT livewire for $400.00..... :-D lol.
