Can you just swap your cluster with a Cobra cluster?
If someone has one that will work with a 98, I'll swap with them. The factory white faces just don't float my boat.

That sucks Julia...I just bought a set and I had been looking for the stock 96-98 Cobra ones but couldn't find any. I wanted some like my stock ones just in white. Nothing fancy.

I should've waited. I knew I'd come across something but it usually happens after I get impatient and already buy. So my timing isn't great either. :rant2:
I do believe that it is a direct swap. Besides the color and 160mph-150mph difference and mileage.

I have white-face but they suck to read at night, they don't light up evenly at all. For the record they're Ford white-face gauges- Ford p/n's on all of them. I guess I've learned to live with them and my fragged trip odometer.

My 1st set was from Ebay. I forgot what they quit doing! It was like they quit lighting up, correctly. I bought my 2nd from UPR and they have been excellent! I forget I have them, kind of, until I lock my car up for good at night! They work when my alarm chirps!

I got this set from ebay. Just a cheap-o set in case I don't like them. I was looking for 96-98 cobra guage faces though but couldn't find any. I just want somthing plain and white.

you should get some overlays from speedhut on ebay. if you dont like the ones you got. the speedhut ones are a little bit more expensive but they look imp:

I bought my UPR ones and I dont like them. The first set I got the top stuck and pulled off some of the gauge. Then the second ones I got I put on and During the Day they look awesome, but at night they dont look right. Its almost as if the light goes right through all of the gauge and it lights up kinda blue but mainly white.....
