I daily drive Nitto Drag Radials. Not much rain here in Phoenix, so that's not much of a concern.

Thanks to Handz for more useless bullshit in this thread like:

Michelin makes the best tires hands down....Puts BFG to shame

Great information there. And,

Really? Have you ever driven those on the street? I can tell you road race tires suck on the street. I've driven pilot cups, full michelin race slicks, BFG race radials, and others on the street - they're horrible.

i have had 3 sets and nothing beat the 555 for the money. I have tracked 555's on the road course and used them in AutoX, and for a street tire they grip damn well.

No you haven't. You're a liar and a poser. You post pictures of your car everytime you wash it, wax it, or park it somewhere, but for some reason we've not seen pics of these frequent trips to the racetrack. Also, your car would be the first car I've EVER seen that spends lots of time at the racetrack and doesn't have rock chips all over it.

In conclusion. Nitto DRs are fine on the street. BFG DRs have less treadware. MT DRs even less than that.

As for rubbing, I run 315s on the rear adn 275s up front this past summer. I had to flip my quads, and bang my exhaust just to be sure my tires dont rub on the rear. As for the front, they would only wear when im in full turn.

Do 315s! Some done even have to flip quads, most even take them off.

Paul, yes i have Driven Pilot Cups on the street and they gripped HARD. a Buddy of mine has them on his 03' Cobra, and we swapped rims to see whats up... they Grip Hard in corners. Ride is VERY stiff due to a REALLY Stiff sidewall.... Way stiffer than PS2s. IDK how you can say michelin Tires arnt the best...because they out perform everything for More Money.

....You need to understand that my car does has rock chips in some places.... Especially some on the Hood. MAybe what you dont understand is that there is something Called Blue painters Tape that prevents this from happening If you take the Endless time to Tape up before you track :tickedoff:

So paul, Just STFU

Neat, except they don't grip until they get hot. Funny, but I don't see many streetcars getting their tires warm enough to make a race tire work. Maybe since you drive like Mario Andretti on the street this doesn't apply to you. Further, a tire with 3/32" of tread wouldn't be much good for very long, now would it?

Wow, thanks for the clearly articulated, well thought-out argument. I have included a link here for you that might be helpful since I presume you've not taken a logic class ever, nor would be able to comprehend the subject matter.

I'm sorry, all I see is a car parked ON THE STREET with a bunch of tape all over it. No doubt a camera-happy fellow like yourself would have no less than dozens (hundreds?) of pictures of your car at the various racing venues participate in monthly. Right? :dunno:

So paul, Just STFU

You should take your own advice and quit while you're behind.
