yea....I bet haha.
Its my DD so im gonna stick with the 3.73s for now.
MadMod said:You mean a higher gear? Like a 2.30? I don't know if you can go any higher than a 2.73 and I don't see why you would want too?
MadMod said:Something along the lines of a 3.55 would be better for a turbo car unless you want to go 250mph

I was under the impression that a longer gear was better for building boost.
that would be cool to have like 600 rwhp and 2.73s
It would probably pull hard
MadMod said:The 3.55 will help it to build boost faster than a 2.73 would. Hence equaling a faster car. Maybe not top speed wise. This is my understanding anyways. The 3.55 will multiply Torque more than a 2.73 would

No. Just the opposite. Turbos require load to build boost. Lower gear = higher load
Of course, this can be accomplished through electronics as well. You can build boost in neutral with an AEM.
Paul.
i do but the 2 cars pull completly differently, i was wondering cause i can hang with my buddies car until about 90 then he takes off, i guess he some how makes more power up there?J.R. said:Accroding to your sig, you have a 3:73 car and a 4.10 car.
IMO, I would say something like a 4.30 would be better, but it really depends on which gear you wanna hit 110 in.
