Because I took my stock springs to the metal recyclers when I got my lowering springs. :grin: Plus I'm not a fan of cutting coils. I'm sure it is fine but I don't think I would do it to my car.
Nothing wrong with cutting a LINEAR rate spring, it's progressive ones that get you! If you do it properly (cut off wheels) you will have no issues, I'm running 1 coil cut up front, uncut in the rear on stock mach 1 springs and my car launches like a beast, here is the squat on launch, taking sway bar off this weekend, goal is to lift one of these heavy *****es without my supercharger.
