Dont expect a ton out of a new exhaust, you will get a couple more horsepower but nothing major. If you want it to feel like a different car go for some gears

Decided not to do the spintech's, they sound a little hollow to me. Gonna do mac pro dumps along with the o/r H and hf cats

Quick question, would MAC pro dumps be louder than the spintech super pro streets? Idk why but I think the spintech's sound a little hollow and the mac pro dumps have a deeper tone

I doubt the macs will be louder because of the size. I had macs before also and there the same size as flowmaster 2 chambers. If you seen the spintechs in person you know there half that size. If your dumping your exhaust both macs or techs will be loud inside.. i mean LOUD! You will barely be able to tell the difference between the loudness. At this point since you dont like the hollowness i would get macs , but once again dumps HOLLOW out a exhaust tone alot also .If you dont like that hollowness you need a full catback to be honest.

The size of my spintechs pros:

Damn I never realized the spintechs were that small lmao, only saw them on their website. Those are almost the same size of flow 10s it looks like. I didn't know dumps hollowed the exhaust out, I learn somethin every time I come on here. Think I'm gonna go with the Mac's.Originally I wanted a whole catback but I don't feel like spending 5-600 just on a catback. My brothers 91 fox has dumped flow 40s with no cats and that thing is loud and vibrates the whole car lol. Thanks for the advice

Yep. The mac catback is worth it though if you can save up $115 more. I brought mine back in 2006 for $279 shipped for the whole mac catback . Its $313 now on one website i know of.

Any chambered muffler is going to sound hollow and raspy. If you want something to sound throaty, deep and like it has a pair, get straight through mufflers. Loud is not everything. Anything can be loud, hell some redneck with a ratted out rotted 1979 Chevy 350 with a single cherry bomb band clamped to a rusty stock exhaust will be LOUD... and it will sound like shit. I've been there and done that with the loud chambered mufflers with dumps. I NEVER got as many compliments on my exhaust as I did with my 95 Cobra. Exhaust was FRPP ceramic shorties, generic O/R H pipe and Dynomax Ultraflows with stainless tails. Sounded a bazillion times better, did not leave a ringing in my ears after a 2 hour trip back home on the weekend, did not fill the cockpit with fumes and didn't attract police.

If you are dead set on dumps at least do it right and point the dumps at each other, not straight down. The exhaust pulses will work together to push the fumes out the back and not right up into the cabin. And I would look at a set of Ultraflows or Magnaflows. The 98 I bought came with Dynomax chambered mufflers and one of the first things I am going to do this spring is swap them out with some Ultraflows.

@Scotty- Pretty much set on getting dumps. Idk if my car will be as loud as I want it if I get a catback. I'll check out some vids of the dynomax ultraflows. Thanks

Car will be louder inside with dumps then it is outside to people

Catback will be louder outside to people and quieter inside to you.

WHich do you want? If you want it loud inside and and even louder outside get the catback.

If you get a o/r pipe it'll be loud no matter if you dump or catback lol

Hmm. That makes a lot more sense now lmao. I'd get a catback but besides the cost idk which to get, the flowmaster one sounds good but I'm gettin sick of it. SLP sounds like tin cans to me, magnapacks sound dope but they're $$. AM just put a new catback on their site from MAC but Idk how loud they are or if they even sound good. I listened to a video of a 95 GT with the stock mid and manifolds with a mac catback, sounded nice but extremely quiet, but I'm sure the o/r H, and high flow cats would really make them scream right? Thanks for your help dude
