Ok so my driver's side window isn't working and is currently stuck down. I honestly don't care too much about getting it fixed right now as I'm broke and for the most part, I just want to get it up and keep it up for now. I popped my door panel off and I can't really figure out any way to get it up. Any ideas?

it uses a wiring system called a 5-wire system. The advantage to this system is there are less parts, no relays and the switches do all the work. The bad part is that if there is a loose connection almost anywher in the system it renders it virtually useless. Check the switch and all the hrns's for loose wires. Try pushin the switch while giving the wiring a gentle tug/pull to see if it is a loose wire that will make contact and start up again.

Tried that, notihng happened really. It is clicking, like the black box that is attached to the plastic door panel makes a click sound when i push down and you can almost here another one if I press up.

that is the one touch relay, it could be bad but I really don't know how to test it.

IF you have a volt meter check for power at the motor with the switch on and see if the motor is getting power and is locked up.

Once you get it up...if its up for more than 4 hours, contact your local mechanic.

I had to head to town so I was gonna run it by the mechanics. Started fiddling with it and then BAM up it went. Been working fine ever since.

It goes up on demand now, I can't wait to tell my mechanic that Im not going to need his prescription.
