So its definetly winter here in chicago and i dont know about any of you that store your mustang for the winter but i really miss my car. This summer my stang and i really bonded and now i am super sad not to drive her for the next few months. Is it weird that shes all i think about 24/7? Does anyone feel me on this? I hope some of you can relate cause my heart hurts. Man, I love that bitch. :dontknow:

I still can't wrap my head around actually putting your car in storage for the winters. It makes sense, if I really think about it though. Here in North Texas, sure it gets cold. It just does not stay that way for a long time. I would go crazy if I had to give my car up for all winter! I get where you are coming from! My car has been away for 2 months, but I will get it back though. I kinda feel for y'all though!

Just think about it this way... It feels like a whole new car when you start it up in the spring. Plus it keeps the miles low. That's how I look at it, and yes I do miss mine.

A mustang is hard to drive in a foot of snow.

The first couple years i put my car away was a lil rough but now it's just something that happens at the end of the season. It is awesome in the spring getting it out again.

you'll probably be better off just leaving it in the garage and starting it up in the spring for a nice long drive.

Having to store ur car in the winter sucks (im from sd) but it isnt as bad as it gets. how about having it sit in the garage broken/in pieces in fall/winter due to having a little too much fun in the fall...

Right now mine is in the shop receiving a new hood/front bumper because I felt like driving it when it was snowing... But most of the time in winter it spends it's days at my brother's outside underneath a car cover.

Come up here to the North East and drive your Mustang all winter for 5 years with all the road salt they dump on the roads to melt the snow and let me know how you feel about it then.

Sucks putting the car up for the winter but its a good break as well, the first time you take it out in the spring is an awesome feeling. Plus during the down time it gives you time to plan out mods and do some research for next year.
