I like the winter, because it gives me time to do all the piddly crap you do not have time to do(or dont want to make the time) for. Plus it gives your car a nice break too, and you focus on getting other stuff done and making some extra money with all the free time.

I hear ya on not being able to drive your stang in winter. I am just a couple of miles north from ya (well west of milwaukee) Unfortunately I have to sometimes drive my car in winter because i don't have a winter beater, although i think i found one. Pretty much i try to keep it clean and have other people drive me like my girlfriend or roomates since i am in college. Although in the unfortunate event of having to drive it is winter, i don't get to enjoy it. I cannot wait untill spring.

If I had the cash for a DD I'd be all over it, and the Stang would be in storage.

I still can't wrap my head around actually putting your car in storage for the winters. It makes sense,

Come up here to the North East and drive your Mustang all winter for 5 years with all the road salt they dump on the roads to melt the snow and let me know how you feel about it then.

Sucks putting the car up for the winter but its a good break as well, the first time you take it out in the spring is an awesome feeling. Plus during the down time it gives you time to plan out mods and do some research for next year.
Man, I love that feeling! After driving my exploder all winter(for 2 months so far) I took my stang out to go to the body shop. I swear, the car feels like a million dollars after driving a POS beater for that long. Sad part is, winter usually doesn't end until march here :'(.
