Anyone have problems with ford racing 9mm wires? Just had an electronic stethescope under the hood and there was a ton of interference coming out of the wires. The stethoscope could pull interference 3 feet away from the dizzy. I have an msd coil but I don't think it bumps the signal enough to create this issue. They sound like they should be jumping between eachother but you can't see it. It's odd.

a clicking noise? I was taught that it meant you had a bad cable. Try and see if you can isolate it to one cable.

well i was using an electronic stethoscope, so its clicking because it creates electrical interference. i tested it on a 90's chevy truck that has a 4.3 with modern hei and you couldn't get interference from the wires until the tip was roughly 1/16 of an inch from the wire itself. then i tested another vehicle. a 99-04 f150 4.2 DIS and i got interference at about 3/16 of an inch from the wires but no where else. both of those trucks have 7mm crap ass wires on them. my mustang literally has interference 3 feet from the plug wires!!! but there is no visible arcing.

Do you still have the noise interference resistor hooked up that sits on the back of the coil bracket? Could be your issue.

they are mysteriously cheap, Ive always had a dis trust for them, yet never had any issues with them lol

I will eventually go to set of jacobs or msd ones, but for now the motorsport ones will do just fine.

I think I'm going to get a mad set. Straight plug ends work with bbl equal length shorties right?
