Going to sell my Mustang this spring, and wondering what I should ask. Details:

Chrome Yellow convertible located in Cleveland, Ohio. 4.7 2V V8 with five speed manual transmission. Rust free Southern car, purchased in Tennessee in 2015 with 68,728 original miles. The car was bought from a new car dealer and we were told the paint and top were fresh, and it looks it. Garaged all its life since in Cleveland, driven cruise season only. It has the optional leather seats, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, power locks, power driver seat, fog lights, Mach 460 stereo with CD player, and rear window defrost. Chrome Yellow is a one year only paint. Current mileage 71,172.

Numerous mods have been made in the last 3,000 miles since I bought it.

  • Front and rear brakes from a Cobra with drilled and slotted rotors
  • 18” American Muscle FR500 staggered wheels 18x9 and 18x10
  • Bridgestone Potenza RE760 tires, 255/40 front and 295/35 rear
  • Koni STR.T struts and shocks
  • Three point rear shock brace
  • Vogtland lowering spring.
  • Maximum Motorsports camber plates
  • Newly rebuilt rear differential with 3.55 gears and Summit 31-spline axles
  • Ford Racing aluminum driveshaft
  • Ford Racing aluminum differential cover
  • Flowmaster cat back exhaust
  • Ford Racing plug wires
  • Screamin’ Demon coil packs
  • K&N cold air intake
  • Accufab plenum and oversized throttle body
  • Gas hood struts
  • Pro 5.0 short throw shifter with Steeda shift arm and Hurst t-handle shift knob
  • Padded style bar
  • Aftermarket headlights
  • Chin spoiler
  • Sequential rear turn signal kit
  • Fuel pump and filter
  • Regular Mobil 1 oil changes
  • New battery 09/2022
The interior and exterior have had some cosmetic mods too. It has black rear valence and lettering decals. The gas cap is black aftermarket, and the side and hood scoops and rear spoiler were painted satin black, but I have the original yellow parts in boxes. The dash has a white gauge cluster with variable brightness. It has some billet aluminum interior switches. The instrument bezel surround, center stack surround, shifter bezel, air bags, and part of the console were painted yellow when I bought it, but I have picked up most of the parts in the original black in case somebody wants to return it to stock.

The parts of the car that are not top notch include soft side bolster on the driver’s seat, paint drip on the deck lid, and a touched-up paint spot on one of the rockers that is hard to see unless it is pointed out. One wheel has mild curb rash. Courtesy light in rear view mirror doesn’t work. Driver door sags a little bit, but I have the new hinge pins to fix it. ABS hasn’t worked since the Cobra brake conversion.

Yeah I'm with that guy ∆∆∆
I'd say $6-$8k
Verts tend to bring less money.

Posted it for sale on two Facebook mustang groups and Facebook Marketplace. Positive comments on how nice a car it is on the groups. Downsizing to a condo without 2 acres to care for and I'm losing my second garage, so the car has got to go. Actually listing it didn't bother me at all, so I guess it IS time.
