I plan to buy a 1.5†cowl hood when I can. I heard you need to add hood pins to it just to be safe. I buddy of mine had a ‘01 Cobra. He installed a Cobra R hood to it. He used hood pins but the plastic covered wires connecting the pins rubbed and it wore on his hood. I am trying to find out before I put them on mine! I remembered he took them off so just the pins were there. I just wondered if his was mounted wrong or that was normal. I don't want mine to rub! Thanks!!
