I installed an off road H pipe on my 94 GT and it wont ideal. Fluctuates and will die sometimes if you let it. The car is stock except for the H pipe and flowmasters. The air tube is not connected, H pipe is used and the air tube is crimped off. Any clues :dontknow:

Smog tube. I wouldn't think by capping it, the car would shut off like that. Make sure your O2 sensors are connected properly and functioning correctly.

I think it can only be related to the O2 sensors. Check to see if they were they put back in and connected.

They are connected and I just replaced them. I'm kinda thinking the injecters and I have fixed one vacuum leak. It idled bad with the cats on but it didn't die and it does fine when its cold (nice and smooth)

Keep looking for vac leaks.
Be sure the h-pipe mated without leaks to the headers.

Just curious: If the A.I.R. pump is still connected and functional, why crimp the air tube on the new H-pipe?

I didn't it is a used H pipe and the tube on it is crimped. I do have exhaust leaks. I'm going to try and fix them next week
