First, mods, if this is not the right place for this, please let me know.

Would like to get opinions if this is worth the money to get back into a SN95. I previously owned a 94 Yellow GT, 5 Speed that I loved, by life got in the way and had to trade her in. Always had an eye out, and think this is one. I think its worth the price, by wanted to get everyones opinion. I have not run a carfax on it yet. Thanks in advance for everyones help.

94 Black GT
50K miles (This I think is what makes it worth it)
Tan interior
5 Speed
Sunroof (yea, I know :-/ )
Clean inside and out
Includes the front hood cover (I've never seen this before)

They are asking $5495, but the guy said make an offer.

Thanks again in advance.

With mileage that low id verify the the odometer is working just to be sure. After i bought mine with 119k on it I was showing it off to my buddy and he joked "Are you sure the odometer works?" and then I laughed........ until I realized that I never even bothered to check. So as the smile fell off my face, HE laughed. lol But it was all good. Seems to be working however accurate it may be. Just a thought anyways.

Tan interior - not worth it.

lol, hard to tell without at least seeing photos.
Honestly, miles don't matter to me that much. Yes a lower mileage car should be better than a high mileage, but age is also a huge factor in condition. It's over 20 years old. I'd care more about physical condition and if its mechanically sound.

Like Orange said. When you stop and think, it's a 23 year old vehicle with only 50k on it. That's less than 5k annually, and who knows how long it sat for periods of time. They may not have kept up with oil changes, etc. Not to mention, motors are made to be ran. All the seals inside need lubricant and sometimes have issues after sitting.

Mileage is only a minor factor when you consider most things will need to be replaced due to age - suspension, seals, possibly sensors, etc. Not only that, 50k miles a quarter mile at a time, or 100k miles on the highway. Take your pick lol.

Thank you everyone for the responses. I'm sorry I was an idiot and didn't post pics. I'll post them below. And also answer some questions. Please feel free to throw out what you think I should offer the guy. I really want to get back into a pony, but I don't want to jump when its not worth it. I'm going to try and take it for a test drive Tuesday night and keep an eye on the odometer.

Tan Leather Interior
Mach 460 system (with Sony 10 disc CD changer, I think this is what makes it worth it, lol )
Power Windows,Locks and Truck Pop.
Doesn't look like any Mods, however I'm not sure why (other then just wanting to do it) it has the Cobra emblem in place of where the GT would be.

$3500-4000 IMO. Theres really nothing special about the car to justify $5500 and the sunroof, low miles and cobra badges just make me wonder..... plus that interior.. ugghhh. But nice.

I paid $3500 and mine was in better condition and a one owner. Sun roofs on our cars don't add value as they're not factory and are very prone to leaking.

I actually prefer the black/tan interior.

Is that Lucas in NJ?

Prices will vary greatly depending on where you live. In my area that is a $5k car all day but in Texas it may be $3k and so on.

Always start low and work your way up.

Everyone, thank you again and again for all the input. It sounds like other then most hating the interior (I can deal since it is clean), this isn't a bad pony to get back into the car. I'm going to offer the guy $4000 and go up to $4500 before I walk away. I won't lie, I'm really focused on the 94 GT (even though I wouldn't say no to a Cobra, lol).

Bob, it looks like it hit Lucas in January for $8995 and then someone (maybe Sales Mgr) bought it and is selling it on the side. Where are you in South Jersey? I'm in Cinnaminson.

Again, thank you everyone for all the input. If it goes through, my first question will be, where can I get the stock GT badge for the fender, lol.
