I need the plastic anchor (black in color?) that married the drivers side door lock rod to the metal “hook” on top of the door actuator. For my ‘95 Mustang Cobra coupe.

Thank you, 07! I will ask my guy @ NAPA when I return the actuator.

I think for some reason I have seen them in the small part help section at autozone but I could just be imagining it.

Scott knows what I’m talking about. I think there is at least one of that type in the pack anyway.

see I am just not so sure if I actually remember seeing one of those or not just because it was one of those moments when I saw it I knew exactly what it was because of my time in audio install and it just kind of blew my mind that they sold them.

so it wasn't a dream.... Now that I think about it they are fairly commonly used with a few different brands/makes of cars because they are so fast/simple/reliable.

I noticed the tweeters are in a bad place; making door card reinstalling more of a challenge than it needs to be.

Contacted my stereo guy. He will place them elsewhere inside the door card AND replace the plastic anchor for the door knob/actuator while he’s got it apart. Good man, my stereo guy!

you realize that if you remove the tweeter pod that there will be a large hole in the top of your door panel unless you switch to non-mach door panels?

In a bad spot? They sound great with the proper speakers.

The tweeter pod removes with 1 screw. Not very difficult. Just pull the grill off.

Not the Mach460 tweeter, that’s simple. I was trying to describe a tweeter component that’s behind the door card!

are they sticking out so far that they are hitting the door panel?
No, but my stereo guy is going to double check the fitment. The door cards went on before, so…???
