wtf...96 gt bogs on hard launch ...sometimes

hey everybody.I got a question for you. This has happened a total of 5 times to me. From a dead stop, rev it up to around 5k, dump the clutch (to spin the tires) and she just bogs. If I keep my foot into it, it'll come to life, but wtf this isn't good for racing people. This guy I know with souped up turbo Jetta asked me what I got under the hood. I told him it was a 20hp briggs n stratton lol, then when I leftv and tried to give him a lil show it actually looked like I had 20 hp! Any common things to look for/parts to replace that would cause it to bog like that on a launch? This is really bugging me, thanks

IM gonna say a MAF needs to be cleaned, some ppl have never cleaned one and never had problems, but I cleaned mine and gain many many horsepower, at least it felt like it.

could have a throttle position sensor that the voltage is unsteady at WOT

id say dirty maf, clogged fuel filter, bad tps... one or more of these would cause your symptoms...

Check the most invasive things first. MAF, plugs, wires, coils, etc.
