I was just wondering what your ideas about Performance distributors? they claim that they have a super smooth advance curve, or something like that. Is this just a sales ploy or is there some truth behind it? Worth the money? I know the stock dizzy is a great piece but just was wondering. thanks guys.

Stock works like a champ. There are seven second cars running stock distributors, and Ford OEM hall effect sensors have proven more reliable and produced a more consistent signal than others.

Agree 100% keep the stock one.

My buddy with a 93 GT pushing 700 on race gas uses a stock distributor it that helps you at all.
