   Well guys i just wanted to share my experience with you guys. i just went to the track on saturday for the Ford Power Festival at Moroso motorsports park and I managed to pull a 12.76 in the quarter mile with the mods in my sig. I almost pissed in my pants and I was shaking to death. It just felt so good that i didn't race hte car anymore after i pulled that time. I was a little disappointed because i had to let off before the finish line as i felt the car stopped pulling and fell on its face so i let off. I did a 12.76@ 102 MPH and a 2.066 60 foot. I know this car has a lot more in it but the problem was that i burned a spark plug plug#5 i guess i have to dyno tune it. I was leaving the tree at 4500 rpm on motor and after the tach went past 3 grand i hit the nitrous, i think this is why my 60 foot sucks. any suggestion or comments please i'm all ears.

have you ran it with the 175 shot?

your time makes me happy too becasue you have similar mods to my car minus the cam, so have a better knowledge of what i can expect.

love your car btw

How did you get it on the CD in the first place?

well my girl recorded the runs and she has a burner so from the camera she put it in a cd or what i could try is play it on the tv and then record it with my digital camera that way i can transfer it to my pc thus upload it to a website. whew! i'll see what i can do.... I can't seem to take it off the line with the bottle since i got 3.08s i think it is because it is way too much load to take off on the bottle. i got a stock rear end with a brand new posi unit but other than that it is all stock. i know the car has a lot more in it since i let off and took it off the line all motor and then sprayed it..... man i loved the look on everyone's faces at the trac kwhen they saw my engine...lol

If your girlfriend recorded the runs, just have her put it on her computer (or your computer) then host it somewhere. Once it's hosted, post a link.

Paul.

I don't think you can transfer a video from a regular video camera to a pc, maybe a digital picture camera that can record videos but not regular video cameras. what is a good website i can post the video if i can find out how to do it?? I tried you tube but it would say failed after it uploaded.... :help2: I really want you guys to see this....

You can't upload the video from your video camera straight onto the computer? Most new videos camera's are computer compatible if you have firewire.

thanks a lot for the props.... yea i don't know what firewire is so :dunno:but i managed to put it up so that is what counts. I was dumping the clutch at 4500 on my 2 step and waiting to reach 3k after that to hit the nitrous, but man when i saw that 12 sec pass i was frikking pissing in my pants, best feeling in the world. I wonder what a bone stock gt like mine will do on nitrous only , tuned of course, with like a 250 shot it would be mean as hell....

it was like 92 degrees, freaking hot IMO. is it me or could this car see like 12.2 in the quarter if i take it off on the bottle instead of all motor? I mean i had a 2.0 60 foot so it is not that great i don't i just think it could see very low 12's because i trapped 102 mph becasue i had to let off..... oh yea i burned a spark plug too #5 plug had a burned tip. iwish i could tune it bro it should be a beast....

Have you ever ran those plugs before? Just curious, because I have known two people with 94-95 5.0s that ran them and it made their car ran like complete trash. Not to mention they are freaking 13bucks a plug most places. Seems like to fancy of a plug for such an oldschool motor. :dunno: Anyway good run man. Wonder what some slighty worked GT40ps and a cobra intake or something better would do for that thing. :dancing6:

no but my friends 03 cobra has them and the car runs fantastic, a tune shop told him to run em after he did a pulley swap so he wouldnt burn spark plugs. i do see what u mean about 5.0s running like shit with them every motor likes different things :dunno:
