This is a list of parts youll need to buy for a basic setup.
1. Bracket Assembly
2. Discharge Assembly
3. Air Intake Assembly
4. Oil feed
5. Oil drain
6. Bypass valve ( stock is bosch)
that is just to put together the kit. I have been told that the 96-98 cobras need an addition coolant crossover tube that retails for around $400 from vortech. You will also need to upgrade your fuel injectors and the fuel pump also to supply enough fuel for the supercharger.
1. BRACKET ASSEMBLY
96-98 GT $229
94/95 5.0 $359
96-98 COBRA $269

94-03 V6 $214
94/95 5.0 $135
96-98 COBRA $264
3. AIR INTAKE ASSEMBLY
96-04 GT $215
94-04 V6 $204
94/95 5.0 $219

1. Vortech Bracket Assembly: $289
2. Vortech Discharge Assembly: $199
3. Vortech Air Intake Assembly: $215
4. Vortech Oil Feed Assembly: $22
5. Vortech Oil Drain Assembly: $23
Total: $748 before tax/shipping
That is cost for EVERY single item you need to put a Vortech S, SQ, or T trim on your 2000-2004 Mustang GT. For other models just add up the prices listed. Only thing left to buy is the head unit. They are fairly easy to find if you search Ebay, SVTperformance.com, or Corral.net . A used S-trim sells between $400-800 depending on assumed mileage and condition. I bought mine for $700 with discharge pipe and intake. If you want a new head unit they cost $1849 for a brand new satin V-1 s-trim. A used head unit WILL be alot cheaper and perform just as well. Even if the unit needs a rebuild, the cost is about $350 from vortech or you can find some performance shops that can do it for around $100. Mine was in great condition when I picked it up from a guy on Ebay. Even bieng a 6 year old head unit it had no shaft play and seems to be in perfect condition.
If you find a head unit for $600, add the cost of the hardware ($748) and this comes out to $1348 for a COMPLETE vortech s-trim setup every part new but the head unit and fuel injectors. Even if you paid say $800 it would just come out to $1548 before tax and shipping. All setups will need to be tuned on a dyno
Install takes a full days work to get it done right. Anyone with general knowledge of removing and installing bolts on the front of the timing cover, removing the belt, using a pipe tap, and swapping non-pressed pullies can perform this install.
Heres the install manual for a GT: http://www.dogpile.com/clickserver/_...D&_IceUrl=true
BTW my ebay head unit is still in perfect condition after 20,000 miles of street/track time.
Non-intercooled setups will make around 350-370whp on 8psi. Intercooled setups can make 370-390whp on 8psi and over 400whp on 10psi with supporting mods on a 99-04 GT.

Here is the standard bosch bypass valve: http://www.dallasmustang.com/product.php?productid=111
Im running a tial BOV with a 3 psi supercharger spring which works just the same as any other bypass valve, just vents to atmosphere. It is about 260 on ebay but I think its a better option than the expensive vortech/procharger valves.
Here is a link to the tial: http://www.amazon.com/TiAL-50mm-Blo..._9?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1330043119&sr=1-9
Search for it on ebay and you can find it with the supercharger spring included for 260.
CX racing intercooler kit: http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchan...Code=KIT-MSTPS-IC0048-275&Category_Code=ICKMT
This can usually be found cheaper on ebay and will require a bit of fab work and cutting to get right but its well worth it.
And donathen racing front bumper support if you dont want to chop up your bumper support to fit the intercooler: http://www.donathenracing.com/Order.html
For blow through applications I recommend the hpx 05+ style maf which can be found here in a 3 inch tube for 300: http://www.vmptuning.com/store/index.php?p=product&id=234&parent=29
I run the walbro 255 lph pump which is good for most common setups and cost a little less than 100 bucks:
