Oh and I 100% disagree that most of the posters on here have done multiple engine/tranny swaps. Some of them have, but no where near most.

I miss the old days. A friend and I pulled a 200/3 speed out of a 66 Mustang one morning, had the head at the shop by 9am, had it milled, bigger valves, picked it up after lunch. Resealed the tranny, new rings and bearings in the engine, new cam, new dizzy, bigger carb off a 240, had it back together and running before dark. That would take me a couple months on the Cobra.

You know, there were GTs with manual seats, locks, windows and without extras like fog lights, wings, cruise, etc.... Hint hint.

They're probably cheaper now considering everyone is so dang lazy they don't want to do anything for themselves. Jusssayin.

Ive never seen a stripped SN95 GT, have seen several Stripped Foxes. A lot less headaches as they get older. Pulled the driver window motor out of the daughter 04 last weekend. PITA

They were called GTS’s. They were base model on all levels aside from having a 5.0

It's a weird Ford/sn95 thing. They were GTS models officially for 95. They were still available up to 98, but they weren't an official model. Option package 248A. 99+ it wasn't available, they all had power options.

This aint facebook!

A forum where dedicated gear heads hang and i promise any regular "posting" member has completed multiple swaps.

And if they are new here....it wont be long till they are swapping.

We’re totally getting off of the op’s subject but yes, of the CURRENT posters most have done swaps, some doing several. We have currently around 20 very active members and I’d say at least 15 have done swaps before. The other 5 may not have done it on their own but have been part of one. Maybe one or two newbies haven’t but most of the actives have done it for sure.

Yeah the tan cloth isn't my favorite. I have a new seat to replace the driver's side, it's broken 10 ways from Sunday. I'll probably just get seat covers since it doesn't match.
