Hey guys. Since I got my new Roush in February and I've been consistantly asked to post pics for you guys I felt like I should finally oblige. Had the car on jackstands the past couple of weeks doing some transmission work and such but finally got the car up and running. Also used my friends paint booth and custom painted my mirrors for cost of paint + dinner for him since he kept the booth open after hours for me haha. Lemme know what you guys think, I'll post the pictures I took, I'm photoshopping them to make them look a little better though, and below these pictures I'll post my to do list.. oh and 1 of 1 DGS Roush FTW :angel4:

First picture I was just reminiscing about the 1/4 mile that we used to have.... I would have LOVED to have that track still. :( R.I.P. Carlsbad Raceway

Now Mods....

As you can see that is not the stock plenum. It's off a Cougar that I found at the junkyard that was PI. I noticed the slight downward angle on the plenum and was curious. found out that the cougar does infact have a larger inner diameter than a stock mustang plenum and the slight angle actually allows more airflow. Granted it's not enough that you're going to feel, but you can't beat $10 for uniqueness lol. Also do not ask what I use to clean my engine bay, that is my secret mix of solvents :)

Current performance mods are the Cougar plenum, Mac O/R H-Pipe, Dynomax Super Turbo Mufflers (side exit), Steeda Quick Release Quadrant, Steeda Firewall Adjuster, Steeda Adjustable Cable, Roush Short Throw Shifter, Spec Stage 3 Clutch, Fidanza Aluminum 12lb Flywheel, Moser 31 Spline Axles, Eaton 31-Spline LSD, K&N Filter, and a Roush 91 Octane Tune.

its obviously a very nice car, but why buy a n/a roush? seems a gt would have been alot cheaper.. atleast 3k. hell, there are probly 99/01 cobras cheaper... and stock, would puts fenders on it. do you realy like the roush look better? to each his own, but i personaly think that nearly every aspect of the roush is just obnoxious...

The roush was priced literally only $1k over GT's around here. The rims alone are worth $2400, The suspension is $2k, etc. etc. To me it was much more worth it, because I got the two things I wanted out of the box. Looks and handling. Power I can work on, but, coming from the v6 I was driving, this is still worlds better.

The way I look at it, I didn't want a run of the mill GT, cobra, or anything of that sort. I see them EVERYWHERE in So Cal. I am one of the VERY FEW Roush owners in all of SoCal and that's what I love, is the uniqueness.

thanks man. you guys kept pressuring me and I found a new spot to take pictures at. Just need to go at a better time of day when the sun is not affecting the pictures like it did.

RS1 = Aerodynamics
RS2 = Aero, Suspension, Chassis Stiffening, Rims, shifter (optional), and brakes (optional)
RS3 = All of the above + Roush Intercooled M90 + Roush Tune

That's the different stages.

That I kind of want to keep on the DL. It is a positive displacement blower. You'll see in a couple of months. :)
