Long story short I had a 2010 GT kona blue manual with 3.73 gears that I loved, 3 weeks later some guy totals it. So now I'm looking at getting another 2010 GT or a 2011 GT with similar options but then I find a 2003 Cobra convertible on craigslist. I saw the car today and it looks pretty good, didn't get to drive it though since I was at work. I'm not big on verts but I feel I can make the exception on a sonic blue cobra though. It's not stock though at the least It has a pulley swap, CAI, tune, exhaust, and some after market single din stereo. Here is a link to the listing:

as well as the vin if any one is kind enough to run a carfax: 1FAFP49Y33F305845

+1.

2010 GT or 2011 GT. Probably find a lot better deals on 2010s since the new 5.0s are out and you're going to find a hell of a markup on those 5.0s.

Not exactly the responses I expected on this forum, but still good to hear. To give some more input on the decision I am facing the 2010GT I am looking at is a premium with the grabber blue accents on the interior, 5spd manual, 3.73 gears, HIDs, security package, heated seats, shaker 1000 stereo, and 19" premium painted aluminum rims which stickers for $36,240 but have been quoted $29,250 out the door and I am sure I can get them down to 28k. The 11GT option would be a special order with the same options except for the HIDs, security package, shaker 1000 stereo, and change the 19"s for 18" polished aluminum rims, which I have already been quoted an out the door price of $33,845 minus any rebates or incentives.

If I had to do it all over again. 2011 GT 6 Speed Brembo package and 3:73's. Nothing else. That's what I love about my 2010 GT. Has a 3:73 package and that's it. No fancy stuff for me. Wanted the car as light as possible. I wish you luck on your quest for a new ride man.

Theres no doubt the awesomeness of a Termi but for the money, I'd rather have an 2010 or 2011. Although I love my interior, the Termis is fairly unchanged from the one released in 1994 making it nearly 10 years old and not quite the best thing ever designed. The newer models' interiors are gorgeous and the new lines are good too.

The 10 or 11 for total comfort and peace of mind of having a new car, but the Cobra if you're just down for hot rodding and want to spend $20k less..

and next year when everyone has a 11 GT and your just one of the crowd. The 03 Termi is going to hold value unlike a GT will.

I think the new 5.0 GT is going to hold it's value better than the past GTs because now it's actually something special. If you're lookin for a daily driver for the difference in price I'd say you'd have to go with the 2011, worth it imo for the 5.0 and 6 speed. If you want a weekend car that you can build to be ridiculous I'd lean towards the Cobra. For a daily driver though the '11 is going to be the win.

at least the 05-09 rear end doesn't look like it belongs on a Honda.
