Ford has always had a sorta sameness to their cars in the lineup, been like that for years. So it's not a surprising that all the cars have a something common shapes.

Idk anymore all cars look the same lol shit I just looked on the ford website and I kid you not every one of their cars now has the same exact front end except the Focus. Even the C-Max hahahaha.... Come 15 the Focus definitely will too I just know it. Not far behind will be the trucks LOL...... No seriously tho check it out. That's the thing I don't like about it. It doesn't mirror just the Fusion and Aston.. It literally looks the same as every other Ford. The rest of the car I can dig, I may even like it. But the front just has no originality anymore which is the only thing keeping me from saying I like it. I'm sure it'll grow on me tho. Just not yet lol. I'll definitely take a 14 tho

And to top it off for 15 we now have added our beloved Mustang to that list!

And do I catch a hint of rear end similarities here????

The way I see it is America has given up on cars and has decided to go euro where everything and I mean everything is smooth and sleek. Yeah it's cool but it also gets old. Fast. Say what you want but I'm not quite on board with the changing of times yet. I'm still a little old school

yeah who would want the 4 cyl ecoboost, more power than the v6 and better gas mileage. that must suck. half the info in this thread is old/inaccurate at this point. Honestly I'm sick of hearing about people complaining about it all day. This car is a huge improvement.

Onyx I heard they put a 4cyl instead of the 6 in it because with a few mods the 6 can put out tremendous power... Not entirely sure how accurate that is... But being a boosted engine, in theory, it makes sense

They only really went with the turbo 4 banger to please the foreign market, I guess in Europe you would get taxed like crazy but with a 4 cylinder the taxes are reasonable and people can afford them.
