^ Thanks you two. MustangChris- I sure hope so. I want the car to be 'loud' exhaust wise, but still be able to roll up the windows, turn the a/c on (if i EVER get it installed) and have a conversation from time to time.
Ferocious- Yes I like it WAY more now.. it looks very mean.

UPDATE!
I had some more free time this afternoon, so I decided to wrap up the rest of the door stuff.
Just showing off the sunlight-loving Sonic Blue...

Engine shot (just 'cause):

Then I moved onto the doors.
Passenger side Fatmat done:

Door panel and everything all installed after:

Then I installed the new weatherstripping I purchased a few months back from Late Model Resto.
I bought new window 'runners' (that sit on the outside of the door), and installed them, but no good pics of them on the car..

Damn I love sonic blue. This color never gets old . Nice engine bay looks really clean can't wait to see what you got going on for the interior .

I also bought new door-to-body weatherstripping, as well as new 'window-to-body seals'. The window-to-body ones will have to wait until I buy some smaller rivets for the 'frame' that mounts vertically in front of the 1/4 window.
door-to-body weatherstripping:

Passenger side:

Drivers side:

I also put my new floormats in. The fitment is pretty good, I am fairly happy with them.

I planned on taking more interior pics now that the interior is COMPLETE, but it was pretty dark out by the time I called it a night.
Hopefully soon I can buy those rivets and get that 'frame' mounted and seal installed. Then I plan on tackling the hood and trunk fitment issues.

I also took the opportunity to DRIVE the car tonight... not very far, just down to the end of the street I live on (dead end) and back, but it seems to drive fine so far.. I did however hear some rubbing noise on the passenger side when making left hand turns, so I will have to investigate that.
Questions/comments welcome!

Thanks. The color choice was a 'no-brainer' for me when I knew it was getting repainted. Second option would have probably been a gunmetal grey of some sort, but I'm glad I got my first pick. The interior is mostly stock. Factory black cloth, but Corbeau GTS II front seats, autometer/AEM gauges, LEDs in instrument cluster.. Nothing too crazy.

^ Thanks. I'm sure it will always be a work in progress, but I would like to reach the 'temporary completion' sometime soon... I wanna drive this thing!

small UPDATE!

I took a little time this evening after work to finish the interior weatherstripping. I borrowed a buddies rivet gun and attached the 'channels' for the window-to-body weatherstripping.
Before:

After:

Gotta love Late Model Resto.. Factory Ford parts in different packaging..

Installed:

It is SO nice to be able to close the door and not hear any clanging, or random contact between parts. The new seals are so stiff now that it takes a little extra effort to close the door all the way, but nothing abnormal. This just about concludes my interior until I get the windows tinted and aftermarket CD player installed. Hopefully I will have some extra time tomorrow afternoon to put a little work in, although the temperature is only supposed to get in the 40s, so I'm not sure how motivated I will be to work in a cold ass garage.. but we'll see.

If I remember right the idle is slightly higher than I would like (800-900rpm in these videos, would like it around 650-700rpm), but I plan on going through and doing the idle reset, setting the tps, etc sometime soon.

Ha.. That's a good question. I don't know, I had this car (in red, stock form) for only a few months before I started tearing it apart, and what I vaguely remember is that the stereo is alright for being stock mach 460, and I didn't have any problems with it. Perhaps it is a combination of me being impatient and wanting to drive it, not being very particular on stereos (as long as it has a CD player and the speakers aren't blown, I'm pretty happy), and just not thinking about upgrading them while they were out. Maybe later down the line I will upgrade them, after all the factory stuff can't last forever, but for now I will probably be too busy enjoying the sound of the exhaust to even worry about a stereo. haha.

That's very true.. If I changed mine from '2slo95fiveoh' to '2slo94fiveoh' most people probably wouldn't catch it. Perhaps I should.. I don't know. I don't really care that much. ha.

Why thank you sir. It's not corny/cheesy.. It gives me a sense of pride to know that there is someone other than myself (and local buddies) that is interested in seeing me get this thing done. But, you do realize after spilling the beans about liking my car, I expect to see your vote for me being ROTM at some point. haha. I will hold you to it!!
