Right on, that look really nice. My pump is a low pressure pump tho and it is actually pretty big haha. like the size of a power steering fluid tank. I think that will be my mission tomorrow. They do look so sick on these cars. Yours looks really clean

Thanks man. Which pump are you running?

That looks really good. I am using the holley blue pump. But I may have found a good spot for it. I am waiting till the weather turns to get out to he car tho. It is blizzarding today.

What is all done to your motor? What sump did you buy? I bought the one that was specifically for our tanks, but it is kinda small...

Thanks man. I'm not too familiar with the Holley pumps, is it a 255?
My motor is a built 281, MMR stage 3 PI heads, custom blower cams, Edelbrock manifold, Vortech JT trim at 20 psi right now, Intercooled, 8 rib, meth...just a quick run down. I'm actually in the process now of starting to piece together a NX plate kit and I'm going to be throwing a 50-100 shot on top of it.

My sump is a Glennsperformance. I went with his 1000hp fuel system. Where did you get the sump from?

Oh nice, that sounds like a healthy setup! If I was going to stay with efi the I think I would have gone with the glenn's performance setup too. But it is an external pump, low pressure electric fuel pump.

Well, a little update. I drove it for about 100 miles and the timing chain ticking got worse and was just pissing me off. Then I heard a knocking noise. So I was scared enough to pull the motor. When the motor was almost out I found that the little cover for the clutch cable going in to the tranny was loose and sounded exactly like the noise I was hearing. I pulled the motor anyway just for a piece of mind. All the bearings looked good so I slapped some assembly lube on them and then put everything back together. Took the timing cover off and found that the timing tensioner on the passenger side was not functioning correctly. After a while of fumbling around with it I got it to where I like it. So the motor is on its way back in and should be pretty quiet when I fire it back up.

Hoping it is good to go for the big CUSCC show this weekend, not that I am expecting to win anything but would be sweet to drive it to a car show.

Took it to the track.. Best I got was 15.0 at 95 with a carb that is choking down and a pissed off tranny. I think its got 14's with carb and tranny.

Just picked up some bbk long tubes for 140! And also found a nitrous set up and I will have about 180 into that. So Pretty excited about that.

Last time I went to the track I went 14.8 @ 97. So I know it needs a tranny, but with a new tranny and headers I would like to get it in to the low 14's if not high 13's. Then spray it and see where it is from there! Need to get the carb tuned in better, still pulling out black plugs.

Got a tranny finally, so getting that in and the headers and hopefully put some more miles on it.

Really looking for some drag radials next
