Planning on running at Bandimere or PPIR? I ran a 13.1 @ 110 with an awful 60' in mine so I don't see how you couldn't knock down a faster time.

I finally got a good tranny I'm going to try and get in this week. Mvb and brake, but won't be using the brake quite yet. So with an auto it should be pretty decent. I'm hoping for some where in the 120 for a trap. I'll be running at pueblo motor sports park.

Car is coming along nicely. Its gonna be so wicked raw driving it tame will be next to impossible.

Haha won't be that nasty. I'm hoping for a 130mph car once the tranny is in and the rear end is built. But for now I'll be happy with anything near 120!

Tranny is in, shifter mounted. Got to wire up the good stuff on the tranny and fill fluids up. And put the turbo stuff back on. Should be ready to go tomorrow night. If it is, going to head to the track tomorrow or sunday

Now something isn't right with the carb, it's going way rich part throttle and won't spool. But getting it figured out..

Possibly going fuel injection this winter

man, this thing is going to be a monster. What are your hp/ET goals?

Haha thanks. If it ever runs right! On 20 pounds I want to be around 700.

I'm slowly losing interest on the idea of the blow thru carb. I've missed 2 events now cause I just can't seem to keep it running right.

Looking into the fitech go efi 8. Good for blow thru, easy to switch over and has all the goodies I'll need. Its good to 1200 Na so I figure I'll meet my goal with it boosted.

As long as you have adequate fuel and spark you should be able to hit your goal. I have similar goals with a Precision 7675 through a 4R70W. Don't get too caught up on hp numbers though because these transmissions soak up power.

Yea, I should. If I can get the carb right I'll have the fuel I think. Got a prostar 500 ready to go in but holding off to see what's going on with the carb.

Yea, I'm not too worried. Time slip is what tells you how bad the car is in my opinion.

You should be able to get there with yours too. What are you doing for engine management?

My buddy with the potentially 1000rwhp F150 went with a turbo350 automatic. Loves it! Dang near bullet proof with little to no extra parts.

I'm just planning on stock ECU and going to keep RPM's to around 7,000...well that's the game plan but you know how that goes
