Exactly. One of the biggest Bottlenecks on our cars are the stock heads/intake. You wont get 300hp easily without doing heads...

Without changing the cylinder heads (or LOTS of work to your existing ones), you won't get 300 hp without a power adder. So pick your poison, blower, turbo, or nitrous.

even with an intake manifold i couldnt?

Nope. An intake manifold and every bolt-on in the book won't get you to 300 horsepower.

if i do heads do they all come complete or do i need to change rollers, pushrods lifters etc i was looking at the edelbrock heads and it says i can keep the stock valve train, what valve size should i go with if im going to keep the stock internals.

You could use your stock bottom end, but you'll need hardened pushrods, rockers, etc... If you want a nice complete kit, Summit sells "top end" kits by Trick Flow and Edelbrock that would get you a complete proven package. You could also go with any of the popular heads/cam/intake combinations discussed at length on this and other forums. For example, AFR 165s, Holley Systemax II intake, and a nice healthy camshaft.

i was thinking of getting professional products upper and lower intakes, these dart heads look pretty decent and maybe a saleen or frpp cam, what kind of valve diameter do i want and lift so i dont mash the pistons

if your not going to spend the money you wont get there. Just buy a trickflow track heat top end kit and with a tune you should be there. Your going to spend around 3k

i would say the trickflows are better than eldelbrock. Just get a top end kit. The companies that you want to buy from up there are going to have a huge mark up on the stuff. just buy it from 50resto.com. trickflow kit comes with everything you need.

Edelbrock makes a nice proven combination as well. A set of heads with 1.90/1.60 valves would be fine.

sub frames are good yes, xspecially with the added hp, and yes upgrade your injectors to 24 lb's or like 39's or something

You'll want to swap your fuel pump out when you put heads/cam/intake on the car.
