So i have a 302 block out of a 87 bronco. Ripped it apart and I'm going to be putting it through the hot tank soon. once thats done i plan to check for cracks and send it out for machining. My plan is to build the motor on the edelbrock performer rpm setup: cams, heads, intake, valvetrain etc... My question is whether i need to take any considerations about the block. Is there a big difference in the block of a 302 bronco and a 302 mustang? Just making sure before i start throwing down cash for the project,,,

Should be no problems. I'm assuming that the '87 Bronco was hydraulic roller just like the Mustang. Can anyone comment?

When in doubt do a search on the internet, or go to the library and check it out rather than relying on what people think it might be.
